Event Description
We hope you will join us for the inaugural Free to Breathe Phoenix Lung Cancer 5K Run/Walk & 1.5 Mile Walk in Fountain Hill, AZ. This event was established in honor of Bud VanStechelman, and it provides an opportunity for lung cancer advocates, survivors and the community to come together to raise awareness and support in the movement to defeat lung cancer.
8:00 a.m. - Registration, Check-in & Breakfast
9:30 a.m. - Welcome and Rally
10:00 a.m. - 5K Run (untimed)
10:05 a.m. - 5K Walk
10:10 a.m. - 1.5 Mile Walk
11:00 a.m. - Lawn BBQ Lunch (free)
11:15 a.m. - Kids' Jell-O® Relay Race Begins
