Please let me know what you think. A friend of mine shared this recently on another forum. For me
It is validation of what I already practice.

But, I know it's not everyones "cup of tea"..... That's fine, because through discussion, we learn.

It's funny, for years I have heard that high fructose corn syrup is bad for you, more so than regular sugar. It has been implicated in a variety of health ills (including obesity and diabetes). But maybe these studies get at it a little more specifically.

Having said that though, I think sometimes we need to be cautious about jumping to conclusions based on things that happen in petri dishes in a lab. Feeding glucose and fructose to cancer cells in a lab is a very different scenario than what happens in the human body. I'm not saying that I think glucose and fructose are not involved in all of this, but just something to consider.

I've tried to cut high fructose corn syrup out of my diet for several years. I think it's great that more and more products are being made available with real sugar rather than HFCS. And it makes me crazy that the issue is so political rather than considering health and science first.

That's my two cents. :-)

I think Nutrition itself has become the "Third" thing you don't bring up at the "Dinner Table"..

It was Religion and Politics, I think it's safe to say, we can add Nutrition. Americas "war" on Obesity and Illness,

has launched an army of experts to tackle the job. I will say this though, the worlds leading experts, are pretty

much on the same page with some very small differences, but they are so minute, that these experts work together and do seminars together.
Amy isn't it always the case as far as being political. Above that it is about money as corn syrup is cheaper to use in production than raw or processed surgar.
