Hi jdfly,

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's hard to lose a parent no matter what age we are. My thoughts are with you and your family during this time.

I have moved this discussion to the Memory Wall. Hope you don't mind.

Hi Julie,

I'm just now seeing your post. I'm so sorry about your dad- you not only lost a parent and a friend, but one of your personal supporters to help you through your battle. Sending good thoughts your way. Remember your dad will never be forgotten as long as he's in your heart- and the heart remembers forever.

Julie,

I am sorry to hear about your lost and I know your dad would want you to continue to fight the fight.  Remeber this:  If someone you love passes, they become a memory, and then that memory becomes a treasure.  Always treasure the pleasant memories you had with your dad.

Hi Julie, so sorry about the loss of your dad. I lost my mom to the same disease the month of May 1999. I was diagnosed in August with the lung cancer. I was kind of glad that she nor I had to deal with her or telling her. My dad died 10 years before. Life just really sucks sometimes!
God bless, John
