I've been looking into your question about protein and blood in urine. It looks like high level of protein in the urine is a known but fairly rare side effect from Avastin. Is Avastin the only drug you are currently on? I haven't read anything about blood, but if you are having kidney problems as an Avastin side effect, I assume that could cause trace blood as well, though I don't know for sure. What have your doctors said about this?

Two people in my in- person support group taking avastin had increased protein in their urine. I think they stopped the avastin and the protein decreased. I think one of them is back on the avastin and the other one is not. They have each been taking the avastin for a number of years. I do recall they each had to do a 24 hour urine test. Sorry I do not recall more....I hope this situation improves for you soon.
