Was wondering if anyone has used N-TENSE well taking chemo treatments, if so did that help reduce the size of the tumor. From all my research on this it is supposed to help slow/stop the flow of blood to the tumors. N-TENSE capsules are 50 % Craviola and 7 other rain-forest plants.
The information I have read and what I have been told,, this product does help.
I switched this to the CAM discussion forum. Hope that's okay. It seemed like a more appropriate place for it.
There is a lot of research going on into chemicals that are angiogenisis inhibitors. Some have seen great results in the lab but not so great results in the human body. The human body is a much more complex place than a petri dish is. But hopefully more positive research will come from these techniques. I don't know anything about this supplement, but I've heard about graviola. It sounds like there's a lot of hype but I haven't heard much beyond that.
Regardless of what you choose to take, be sure to let your doctor know what you are taking. If you are currently on chemo or radiation or a targeted therapy, it is important to make sure you aren't working against the treatment's ability to work well.
Ray - I have a distant "relative" - my step-father's son-in-law, who absolutely swears this helped cure his father of prostate cancer - who knows, since that is a whole different animal from LC. Nothing do him but I order it and try it on my mom....my mom was stage 4 NSC at that time. I did order it along with the lung support from that company.... it did no harm, but in the long run it did not help her. Again, as we all know, everyone is different...
I will pass along what the N.M.D. told me about my mom's supplements - stop them 24 hours before chemo and do not resume until 48 hours after chemo...that way your not loading the antioxidants on top of the chemo...
Have you looked into the IP6 & Inositol supplement? I have read some very positive information on this mixture.
