"No, my other chemo was such a disaster, I think he won't suggest that. My white count went down to zero three times and I had lots of complications. So local radiation sounds good to me.

"Hi Eric,
My mom had a tumor in her right tibia. The radiation really stopped the pain. It takes a while after treatment ends for the pain to stop, but it will. Hang in there!"

As the result of a bone scan, my oncologist says I apparently have a lung cancer met in the left femur bone now. I had been having some pain which we assumed to be just a muscle spasm. I'll see a radiologist this week about treating the bone lesion with local radiation. That should prevent a fracture and also eliminate pain. That's about as much as one can hope for, seems to me!EricSee More
