I just found this and wanted to comment on it. Not sure what "streaming" means but my hair came in slow as iwas am still taking maintenance doses of Avastin. But my turned gray, very dry, but before I did coloring I asked my dr first if I can color and do what ever I wanted to do with my hair. But about a year in half I colored and highlighted it and it did fine. So Good Luck.

Hi melanie,

I'm not sure what you mean by "streating" but a lot of people notice that their hair changes texture or color, sometimes permanently, after going through chemo. My mom went from straight to curly (called it her "inside perm" since the chemicals went inside her body and not just on her hair!) and got much more grey. The only reason I would think you'd have to be cautious about perms or coloring would be if your hair has become very dry or brittle. Not sure that's helpful, but just something to consider!
